I am very jazzed about leading a weekly yoga practice for the teens at Our House this summer. Spending time on a yoga mat leads to a healthier mind, body, and spirit. Stress is reduced, and concentration and focus can improve. One of my great passions is to offer a yoga practice which benefits not just our physical bodies, but the incorporation of useful stress-reduction techniques, coping skills, and awareness of our greater sense of being and purpose. Perhaps I am too idealistic, but firmly believe that the simple messages of “you are worthy” and “you are enough” are fundamental in living a life filled with purpose.
I’m looking forward to meeting them and continuing to work with the talented staff at Our House.
